Noise thuds the sky, crackers crackle at words unsaid,
Sparklers enmesh the sky and with the stars of the night they wed!
The lone diya flutters against the diminishing oil and the flirting wind,
Sweets galore coax the sensations and thaw hearts of the coarsest rind!
