Bangalore Rains!

Wind flirts with the droplets from the clouds heavenly,
Tantalizing the aquatic plummet - testing the reverence of gravity!
Winds wail, ensnared among man-made structures, in agony,
Odour, that is redolent of the mud guzzled in water, levitates soul to spirits extraordinary!

Yo make me weep, moan, lament, as I try to follow your poetry,
I am the one who is supposed to be literary.
You draw wondrous word pictures that I can not just see but feel,
You humble me, as your talents and sensitivity make me reel.

:)

'Odour' nahin yaar - the word smacks of a bad smell (or worse of those chemistry lab sessions) whatever its meaning in the dictionary be.

As the rain droplets dance their way to earth,
With every mortal they merrily flirt.
They exasperate some, to others they bring a smile,
They make us wish with them we could dance for joy.
They take on the hues of what we wear,
They carry rainbows in them, that we wish we could share.
Rains are cleansing as they make us pause,
The droplets refresh us, carrying messages from God.

A literary you are! For my poetry is just an attempt and yours is a work!

I am amazed with the subtle messages you convey....through your poems...

:) I did make out the 'saransh' of the poem Easu. But "Spring" still reigns supreme for me. You will have to try harder to top that one.

Anusha's poems are awsome. I loved this one. I can quote a few lines amongst friends and impress them. ;-) That was a nice one Anusha!!
