Octaves accolade

Melody croons from the depths – wafts sometimes in melancholy wafts sometimes in ecstasy,
Baritone yet mellifluous voice, psyche segues from rags to riches – from nadirs to summits – to rapture from despondency.
Mind and Soul levitate in to a reverie, as the tenor encumbers deliberation of this morsel.
Octaves accolade The King – as feelings transcend heights – ecstasy drools and soul does swivel.

Divya – Thanks for the Collection. Elvis never left the building!

Oye! You back to the 'tough to understand poems...'. I think it has something to do with the Singapore factor :). You get inspired to include such words when u are in the Lion City I guess.. :) Me coming over there on an assignment soon... Till then Keep rockin.

The King deserves accolades, sure
But even he would reading your lines in dread shiver.
Dictionaries are not comforting to hold, pal
Give us rhymes that not in nadirs but summits hold us in thrall.

Listen Mr.High-brow get to the level of the common man,
Listen to Cliff Richards and write and maybe we will undertand.

I am SERIOUS. :(
