Heavenly Fields of Peace

I wandered as a lonely cloud – a great man once said,
Scars from fumes of progress were not bred.

Caresses of zephyr have flirted with my wake,
Soothing rays have filtered through purity of my make.

Hues of time and season are my reflection,
Azure stretches and silvery countenance - companions of my affliction.

As the Age of success scathes my heart and renders me meek,
Heavenly fields of peace, reeking simplicity, is all I seek.

"If there is heaven on earth"- said some poet. Scars of progress are inherent part of life. Chandamama used to have pictures drawn by unknown artists depicting beautiful rustic scenes. I am thankful to God that he has permitted unfettered imagination so that we can draw our own heaven albeit in our heart.

Ask and you shall receive
Close your eyes and look deep:
In your mind is secured
Your peace, your purity, untarnished, unscarred.

Your reflections that you claim are your affliction
Are actually guiding you to the path of enlightenment.

Success need not hurt brother,
Nirvana you will find just yonder.

Cheer up.

The grammatic usage i chose is in conjunction of Heavenly Fields of Peace, I considered peace to be singular component. :)
